How To Apply For The Training Revolving Fund (TRF)Loan 2022/2023 For Civil Servants.

Civil servants in the National Government pursuing their post-graduate studies in Kenya are eligible for a loan by the Ministry Of Public Services Works in collaboration with the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) called the Training Revolving Fund (TRF).


Students are usually awarded, between Ksh 30,000 and Ksh 500, 000 with an interest of 4% per year.


NB/ Only civil servants pursuing post-graduate studies ie Masters and Ph.D. courses are eligible.


REQUIREMENTS:

1. An admission letter from a recognized university or training institution in Kenya.

2. A Letter Of Recommendation from your employer.

3. Copies of 3 months' latest payslips with a net pay above 1/3 of the basic salary.

4. Copy of the National ID

NB/ It must be certified by the commissioner of oaths.

5. Certified Copy of the KRA PIN

6. Certified copies of the National ID from two guarantees employed within the civil servant department.

6. Passport-sized photos.


REPAYMENT

Repaying the loan is due a month after its disbursement through the check-off system.

The maximum repayment period is 6 years or 72 months.

The Loan interest is 4$ a year and an annual ledger fee of Ksh. 1000
