University/College applications have been on a roll this time of the year as KCSE 2023 candidates strive to secure slots at higher learning institutions nationwide. This of course is an anxiety-inducing exercise and onerous at the same time, especially for students not privy to information about universities in Kenya and what courses they offer best in their academic endeavors.
The following list and in general this article, though not comprehensive, attempts to alleviate this anxiety whilst also maintaining ethics and journalistic integrity by listing 15 universities in Kenya and the courses they offer best according to data published by uniRank.
The institutions have been vetted and seen fit to be ranked this way by the following criteria;
They are being chartered, licensed or accredited by the appropriate Kenyan Higher Education organization.
Offering at least three years of bachelor's degree or postgraduate master's or doctoral degrees.
Delivering courses predominantly in a traditional non-distance education format.
NB This list is not comprehensive and or inclusive of the best courses these universities offer. The data in the table is also subject to time seeing as it is curated from sources that published the information prior to 2024.
As always good luck in your university application journey. If you enjoyed this article be sure to follow our social media pages and subscribe to our newsletter for more.
